Tom McEvoy
Design Director
Tom has almost two decades of experience as a graphic designer, working for agencies and freelance before establishing Studio Quercus in 2022. Tom has known he wanted to be a designer since his school days, and his love of a perfectly typeset report knows no bounds.
Rosie Downes
Operations Director
Rosie joined Studio Quercus after almost 20 years in the charity sector, managing influencing campaigns for organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support and Crisis. When she’s not coming up with creative ways to win campaigns or wrangling the kids, she enjoys cycling, Scrabble, and a good pub roast.
Where we are
Design and creativity runs through Frome’s history – the town has been a centre for printing since the 1780s and hosts a monthly market that brings together designers and makers from across the South West. It’s a town that’s proud of its politics, with all of its town councillors independent since 2011, and it’s also known for its sense of community, with valued projects to increase participation, get help to those who need it, and support local businesses. We feel very lucky to be based here.
